Here at The Cupcakery we do NOT use any preservatives or chemicals to enhance our product. Because of this our shelf life isn't as long as cupcakes you might find in the grocery store or at other bakeries. Cupcakes will maintain a moist texture and fresh flavor for 3 days, if they are kept in an airtight container, i.e. Tupperware or ziplock bags. Temperature…The cupcakes are extra sensitive to heat. Temperamental to say the least. NEVER leave them unattended in a hot car or in direct sunlight. This is certain to bring you a puddle of melted frosting. Drivers…Please be easy on the brakes!!! These tiny works of art will fly right out of their box and onto the floor if your car if you don't drive carefully with them. There is nothing worse than opening a box of cupcakes to find them all upside down. Poor little things… Refrigeration…If you are going to refrigerate the cupcakes, they must be in an airtight container to prevent them from drying out.
